Program Overview
UnITY Tennis is Merced's only year round tennis program that provides tennis opportunities for all ages. Founded in 2017, UnITY now offers 7 junior classes, a city wide Junior Challenge Ladder, private lessons, JTC Tournaments, Adult Drill and Play, and 3 level Adult Tennis League. 2022 will be a landmark year as UnITY strives to be a staple in the community.
Director Isaac Yarrell
Isaac is known for developing a tennis program that can last in Merced. As the only year round tennis program in Merced, Isaac has made it his #1 goal to bringing tennis to the community.
Before UnITY Tennis, Isaac ran the tennis program at Inshape Yosemite and the Tennis Director of one of the most prestigious athletic clubs, Concourse Athletic Club in Atlanta, GA. He played for 4 years at Florida A&M and has taught tennis, in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, West Virginia, Canada and Rwanda before making his home in Merced.
Isaac is married with 3 children, the oldest being a 3x CCC Champion, Jenasis Yarrell.
